Attitude – No Days OFF®

There is one thing that can stop even the most devout fitness enthusiast from going to fitness classes or their bootcamp gym. It is something that every person that is or wants to become a fitness enthusiast has had to face at one point or another. For some it is easier to overcome than for others and that potential roadblock is attitude.

If you don’t want to go to the bootcamp gym because you’re sore from previous visits or you simply don’t want to get off the couch, it can be really difficult to find the motivation to do so. If your progress towards your fitness goals is slow or has hit a plateau, it can be very easy for your attitude to sour and you start asking yourself what the point is anymore? Even if we never talk about it, personal trainers have been in that exact position and have had the same thoughts.

What keeps us going strong is our attitude which effects our determination to stay fit. Working out makes us happy, as does helping others achieve their fitness goals. We don’t always feel like doing it just as anyone else feels from time to time, but the fact that we have a positive attitude towards physical fitness keeps us in check.

It is important for you to find some enjoyment in the process of getting fit and going to your fitness classes. If you don’t enjoy parts of the journey, you’ll never reach your destination. The good news is that you have control over your attitude and that can be your most powerful tool when it comes to staying with the program so to say, or giving up because it’s too hard.
