No Easy Way – No Days OFF®

I, like many others, let myself get far too out of shape before even considering bootcamp classes or any other kind of fitness classes for that matter. The reason is as simple as it is silly. I was waiting for an easy way to lose weight. There has got to be a magic pill out there that will let me continue living my current lifestyle and get fit at the same time, right? Well, there are pills out there. I did try them. They didn’t work, at least for me in any case.

Okay, there are surgeries that I could have. Hook up a vacuum to a giant needle… How about NO? Besides, liposuction can put too much strain on your body and can lead to even worse medical situations than just being out of shape. Plus, I like to think I’m not that lazy.

My last resort, which in hindsight should have been my first, was a membership to a bootcamp gym. It was not the easy solution, but I have come to the conclusion that when it comes to personal fitness, there is no easy way. The amount of effort and daily determination that I had to put in was taxing to say the least, but you know what? It was totally worth it when I could look in a mirror and not tear myself down because I was disgusted in what I saw.

The personal trainers at my bootcamp gym were instrumental in helping me develop a healthy lifestyle that would make my progress less difficult, but even that was hard to do. I had to basically form new habits for everything.

From where I stand now, I can say that if I can do it, so can you. There isn’t an easy way, but the easiest way to get fit is at a bootcamp gym.
