Stay At Home Parents – No Days OFF®

Being a stay at home parent is quite possibly one of the most difficult jobs that exists. You can’t “clock off” and go about your day and do whatever you want. I know, because I am a stay at home parent. Despite the all encompassing nature of having children, it is important for you to get your “me time” in when you can. It’s also important to get yourself into a bootcamp gym or some other fitness classes on a regular basis.

You’d think that chasing around a child or more all day is enough activity to keep your body fit. It helps surely, but it isn’t the same as a good workout. First off, bootcamp classes give you a full body workout in just an hour. In fact, it’s the best workout that one can get in that amount of time. Second, it gives you, your mind, and your body a break from having to deal with the constant needs of the child which can be draining.

I know it may be difficult for some of you letting go a bit, but after a while you’ll see that regular bootcamp classes will get you fit, give you more energy, and let you recharge mentally. All of which are important when taking care of a child or more. You’ll feel better and be able to keep up with the little ones for longer if you are as fit as you can be.

As a stay at home parent, you are No Days OFF, and with regular bootcamp classes you’ll be better prepared for the rigors that your job requires. Besides, your bootcamp gym may be the only place that you get to have adult conversations with actual adults on a day to day basis. You may even find some new friends, too.
